For some shooters, greed dots work better than red dots. They’re more astigmatism-friendly, and offer better brightness and contrast in certain environments.

The same goes for multi-reticles – it’s nice to have options!

Now, the Osight SE Green Multi-Reticle is combining both features into the latest incarnation of the brand’s CCW pistol optic.

The new reticle gives you the option to use a 2-MOA dot, a 32-MOA ring, or both – now in green instead of red.

I find green a little easier for my eyes to pick up in bright sunlight, or settings with lots of warm tones, like the desert. Naturally, the opposite is true for lush landscapes.

Other than the reticle, this is the same Osight SE we’ve come to know with hands-on testing.

It still uses the RMSc mounting footprint, although Osight does sell an RMR adapter plate separately. The side-loading CR1620 battery tray is a welcome change for people who don’t like to wait for an internal battery pack to recharge – one of the common complaints surrounding other Osight optics.

Osight claims a 75,000-hour battery run time, and the reticle will flash when charge gets low so you can change the battery before it dies.

The optic features a three-minute auto-shutoff feature to conserve energy, and motion detection to activate it as soon as you move the pistol.

Osight lists an MSRP of $219.99 for the SE Green Multi-Reticle. For reference, that’s $20 more than the red multi-reticle and 6-MOA green dot.

Right now, you can get one for an introductory price of $186.99.
