Buying guns online is nothing new; all you need is a credit card and an FFL to handle the transfer on your end.
There’s a major drawback, though. You miss all the deals at your local mom-and-pop gun shops!
Gun Made just launched a nationwide search engine that connects you to major online retailers, nationwide chains, and independent gun stores so you can find exactly what you want for the best price possible.

This online resource is already huge and growing quickly. As I write this, you can get access to more than 4,000 stores in the U.S. and more than 500 million items in their collective inventory. Soon, the system will support ammunition, too.
“We’ve built a platform that not only provides access to more stores and inventory than any other competitor but does so at zero cost to the dealers,” Brady Kirkpatrick, the founder of Gun Made, said. “Consumers can feel confident knowing they’re getting real-time inventory from 4,000 stores, not just a few hundred, and they can also see ratings and reviews right on our site—something that’s often difficult to find on other platforms.”
Vendors include everyone from Scheels and Gun Broker to the gun store around the corner.
“Keeping gun owners connected to their local dealers is incredibly important, especially in an age where online convenience is everything,” Kirkpatrick told Pew Pew Tactical. “Unfortunately, local gun stores face unique challenges in gaining online exposure because most major shopping platforms ban the sale of guns and ammo. This means that even if a shop has the right products at the right prices, they often miss out on potential sales because they can’t reach new buyers online. Gun Made was built to bridge this gap, allowing these local shops to list their inventory and reach nearby customers without the high fees or platform restrictions.”
The process is smooth and easy. If you’ve ever purchased a gun online and worked with an FFL in your neighborhood, you know the drill. If you’re new to gun ownership, this resource is even more important.
“For first-time gun owners, staying connected with local dealers is essential,” Kirkpatrick said. “These stores don’t just sell firearms; they provide education, advice, and a personal touch that big retailers or online platforms can’t match. With Gun Made, you can even check ahead to see which stores have the product you’re looking for, so you can hold it in your hands and feel it before buying—saving the unnecessary time and effort of calling or driving to multiple stores.”
In addition to the list of search results, there’s a map function where you can see where individual stores are located so you can pick up your purchase in person.
When I checked the site for the first time, I was instantly met with a slew of deals in my town. I found a beautiful SKB trap gun, a Sig Sauer Cross in .308 Win with a sweet desert camo pattern, and a Shadow Systems XR920, all within a few miles of my zip code.
You can cast a larger net and shop nationally, too. I saw super tempting deals on Barretts, Steyrs, and limited-edition 1911s while I was on the site. Somebody hide my wallet.
Feeling lucky? Gun Made has a repository of manufacturer giveaways. Enter to win prizes like a Polaris UTV full of guns from Springfield Armory (valued at $31,000, I might add), guided hunting trips, and all kinds of guns and gear.
Gun Made has its own giveaways, too. Right now there’s a Taurus GX4 and a bunch of accessories ready for the taking.
When it comes to buying anything, it’s good to have options. It’s exciting to see someone make the process this easy while supporting small businesses.
“When we started Gun Made, our goal was to support these small businesses by providing a platform where they can reach local buyers without the stress of high fees,” Kirkpatrick said. “Gun Made is free for stores to join, which I believe is a game-changer for local gun shops. These stores deserve our support, and we’re proud to stand behind them every step of the way.”
Gun Made also has a YouTube channel where you can check out guns and gear before you buy.
