Remember when Rost Martin kicked in the door with one of the most value-forward CCW guns on the market? Well, the Dallas team has been busy since then, and we got to see some new models at SHOT Show 2025.

The Rost Martin RM1C Comped returns everything we liked about the original RM1C but – you guessed it – with an integrated compensator built into the barrel and slide.

Compensated pistols are a hot trend, probably because they’re not too hard to produce. There’s just a little extra machine work required to turn an existing model into a comped model using the same components.
It’s a nice way of reducing muzzle rise and felt recoil, but that’s not all there is to like about the RM1C Comped.

Like the base model, you’ll get a comfy, confidence-inspiring grip texture with three interchangeable backstraps. It’s also fully ambidextrous and has a flat-faced trigger with a five-pound pull weight.
The RM1C Comped is optic-ready and comes with an RMR adapter plate from Rost Martin. Want to use another mounting footprint? You can pick up other adapter plates for less than $25.
The RM1c comes with one 15-round flush magazine and one 17-round extended magazine. You can buy more of either for $25.50, and state-compliant 10-round magazines cost a dollar less.
Rost Martin lists an MSRP of $489 for the RM1C Comped.
The other new pistol Rost Martin showed us was the subcompact RM1S. It has a shorter barrel (3.6”) and reduced capacity (12 rounds with a flush magazine and 15 rounds with an extended magazine), but it carries over all the other features of the RM1C.
