Previously, the GlassPak Pro came with a rangefinder pouch and a padded neck strap for heavier binoculars. It still does, but you can add more accessories a la carte.
First up is a universal holster because leaving your EDC at the trailhead is a terrible idea. It’s ambidextrous, has room for a red dot, and fits most pistols and smaller revolvers. This add-on has an MSRP of $59.99.
It’s nice to have ways to defend yourself from wild critters that don’t involve reporting a dead animal to the game warden, so Vortex is also offering a bear spray pouch that fits popular eight- to 10-ounce cans and holds them in place with a drawstring closure. The MSRP for this is $44.99.
There are two new zipper pouches available. One is sized like a rangefinder pouch and sits alongside the bino harness. The larger alternative looks like a sunglasses case and mounts below the harness, in the same place as the holster. Each has an MSRP of $49.99.
This last one might surprise some of you but I don’t knock it until you’ve tried it; the hand muff is a game-changer. This fleece-lined handwarmer can turn a miserable day into a pleasant outing, and it’s worth every penny of the $119.99 MSRP.
All of these are tactical tan and DWR-coated to resist water.
Vortex lists an MSRP of $34.99 to $119.99 for the new GlassPak Pro accessories.
