After SHOT Show 2026, we reported that this would be the year of the suppressor. A lower barrier to ownership in January kicked off a frenzy of new makes, models, and companies. Major firearm manufacturers are getting in on the action, too.

Canik is the latest. After announcing the Canik Void suppressor line at SHOT, cans are finally available and shipping to customers.

The suppressors are built for Canik by Otter Creek Labs. There are three rifle-caliber models and one pistol-caliber model. Here’s what we know about them so far.

Canik designed it for both handguns and PCCs chambered for 9mm, but it can also handle subsonic .300 BLK with any barrel length or supersonic .300 Blk with a 9-inch barrel (semi-automatic only).

Canik thought about your AR-15, too. The Void-556 and Void-556K are both designed around 5.56 NATO, 6mm ARC, and similar cartridges. Just keep those barrel lengths to 10.5 inches or longer.

The full-size Void-556 is 6.1 inches long and weighs 15 ounces; the compact Void-556K trims down to 5.1 inches and 12 ounces for those who prioritize maneuverability over maximum sound suppression.

At the top of the range is the Void-762. It’s the same size and weight as the Void-556, but for .30-caliber rifles. That includes .300 Blk with a 9-inch barrel, 7.62x39 with a 10.5-inch barrel, .308 Win with a 16-inch barrel, and even .300 Win Mag with a 20-inch barrel.

Each of the rifle suppressors is built from welded stainless steel baffle stacks. Once again, removable end caps let you pick between flow-through gas flow or optimal sound suppression.

All four suppressors are HUB-compatible and come with threaded adapters for direct-threat applications.
