Staccato took over SHOT Show earlier this year when the company announced the new HD series. The booth was jam-packed from open to close with people vying to see the new Staccato that (gasp) takes Glock mags.

Now, the duty-focused HD line has big news, and it’s tiny. The Staccato HD C3.6 is a concealed carry gun for people who only want the best.

Let’s fight through the crowd and take a closer look, shall we?

  • Optic Footprint: HOST
  • Frame: Aluminum
  • Barrel Length: 3.6”
  • Overall Length: 7.1”

The HD C3.6 keeps Staccato’s bull barrel in stainless steel or DLC finish, but it’s shortened to 3.6 inches. The grip is also smaller, designed around 15-round Glock 19 magazines rather than the full-size magazines in the HD P4 and HD P4.5. The aluminum frame trims a few ounces compared to Staccato’s usual steel frames.

Aside from those changes, the standard HD features remain.

That includes a drop-safe firing pin block, external extractor, no grip safety, the versatile HOST optic mounting system, and compatibility with Glock magazines.

Staccato offers the HD C3.5 in three packages.

The standard package comes with a stainless steel barrel, standard slide serrations, a standard iron sight up front, and two metal Mac Gar magazines.

The preferred package adds a DLC-coated barrel, a Trijicon tritium front sight, and a total of three magazines.

In addition to those upgrades, the premium package gets vented serrations on the slide and a total of four magazines.

You can add an optic, light, removable magazine well, and additional magazines at checkout.

Staccato HD P4
The Staccato HD P4 made a splash at the Pew Pew Tactical ranch.

In our recent Staccato HD P4 review, we were pleased to report that it’s everything we love about the original Staccatos, only easier to live with.

The compact version looks to be more of the same – and that’s a very good thing.

Staccato lists an MSRP of $2,299 for the standard HD C3.6. The preferred package has an MSRP of $2,499 and the premium package has an MSRP of $2,799.
