The FN Five-SeveN is a full-sized pistol that makes extensive use of polymer to create an extremely light yet high-capacity full-sized handgun. Using FN’s own 5.7x28mm cartridge, the Five-SeveN has an impressive range as far as handguns go.
Product Description
Developed in conjunction with FN’s P90, the FN Five-SeveN was built around the new 5.7x28mm cartridge to meet new NATO standards for a combat pistol. The result was an internal hammer-fired, delayed blowback, polymer-frame pistol with an extremely high capacity and low overall weight. A 4.4-inch barrel and 20-round standard magazine capacity yield a pistol that still only weighs 20 ounces unloaded. The 5.7x28mm cartridge provides shooters with a longer range, while the delayed blowback system minimizes recoil greatly.
