final verdict
The Springfield Armory XD-M Elite model boasts an optics-ready design — a plus in this new world of concealment where red dots rule. With a 9mm chambering and 14+1 capacity, it totes enough rounds to stay competitive with the likes of the G43X and Sig P365. While we don’t like the backstrap safety all that much, some users do and it’s a nice blend of manual safety meets modern striker-fired pistol.
