Austin, TX — Today SCFARR Labs released its AI Companion CHAD which aims to transform the way firearm-lovers communicate with the world.
CHAD, which stands for Caliber Hobbyist and Arms Devotee, is an 8-foot tall avatar built off of SCFARR Lab’s latest LLM trained from AR15.com and Reddit forums that is available as a free app on Android phones only.
SCFARR Lab’s PR director, Natalie Bach, told us that CHAD’s main purpose was to “provide emotional support to gun lovers who have exhausted their loved ones with firearm minutiae yet wanted constant confirmation of their beliefs.”
Pew Pew Tactical was there for its first initial test. We utilized the Upgraded version with included the most popular “Barefoot” and “Shirtless” paid add-ons.
Otherwise, free app users of CHAD will only see this completely clothed frontal view.
One of CHAD’s most revolutionary features is the ability to critique gun builds without hurting feelings. When shown the following image:
CHAD replied with a change of scenery and the following:
“Hey kid, an AR, in its essence, is not merely a firearm but a symphony of engineering and art, a ballet of curves and lines that dance to the primal roar of power. Its beauty lies not only in the gleaming expanse of its golden skin but in the soulful harmony of form and function.”
He continued, “It is a phoenix born from passion and precision, its heart a tempest of fire and force that pulses with the rhythm of the road. In its essence, your build is beautiful not for what it is, but for what it awakens in me. Please authorize an additional $5 to continue Barefoot mode.”
However, when asked about the age-old question of AR-15 vs AK-47, CHAD opted out with this response:
“Brother, the AR vs AK conflict is deeply complex and has roots that go back more than a century. Each side has its own narrative and claims based on historical, cultural, and religious ties. The question of who is ‘better’ can vary widely depending on historical interpretations, legal arguments, individual perspectives, and ethical considerations.”
When pressed about a real answer, CHAD replied, “Your request may violate our usage policies,” and the entire phone froze.
CHAD is now available on the Android Store for the Poors as free with in-app purchases.

I wish nothing more than for this to be real. Almost had me going there.
