Holding a Gun Slide & Firing

Interesting video that popped up in my feed today about what happens if you hold a gun slide and fire.  This goes without saying…don’t do this at home!

Spoiler alert…it will still fire if the slide is in battery.  What you see happen is that the hand prevents the slide from cycling.  So if the person wanted to shoot again, they would have to manually rack the slide to eject the spent case.
