We love user-serviceable, multi-caliber suppressors. They just make life easy!
Using one suppressor for multiple firearms and keeping it clean at home are great ways to stretch your money further and protect your investment. That’s why the modular Banish 30 suppressor from Silencer Central is so popular.
Now, there’s an updated version: the Banish 30-V2. According to Silencer Central, it delivers on all those fronts and adds performance with a few key changes. The best part? There’s no change in price.

This second-generation suppressor is an evolution of the original Banish 30 we reviewed rather than a reinvention. Some things, like the ability to configure it in two lengths, the user-servicability, and the titanium construction, are unchanged.

The differences are in the details.
This time, it’s shorter. The outgoing Banish 30 measured seven or nine inches long, depending on how many baffles you used. The new one is 6.4 or 8.17 inches long.
It’s lighter, too. Weight is down from 11.2 ounces (short) and 14.3 ounces (long) to 9.5 ounces (short) and 12.4 ounces (long).

Despite the decrease in mass, the Banish 30-V2 has two more baffles in the short configuration and three more baffles in the long configuration, so it’s slightly quieter.
The 30-V2 now ships with a standard HUB mount and a 5/8×24 direct-thread adapter. You can choose between black and flat dark earth Cerakote.

This is still a multi-caliber suppressor, and Silencer Central rates it for cartridges ranging from .17 HMR to punishing .30-caliber magnums. It can handle fully automatic fire, but only in limited doses.
You can use this do-it-all can for rimfire plinking, training with your AR-15, or going long with your precision rifle. When you’re done, strip out the baffles and get them shiny and clean for the next range day.

Silencer Central lists an MSRP of $999 for the 30-V2.
