In 2020, Dark Star Gear wiped the drawing board clean and started working on a new holster design. Four years later, it’s here.
The Perseus (named after the slayer of monsters in Greek mythology) is a modern holster for modern pistols, with options to customize how it fits both your body and CCW needs.

The designers also know that we have different preferences when it comes to how a holster mounts to our belt. You can choose soft polymer loops for a more flexible setup, or lock the Perseus in place with Discreet Carry Concept’s famously relentless steel clips.
If you opt for the DCC metal clips, you can use one or two. Dual setups can put both clips on the holster or spread the load by putting one on the wing attachment that helps keep the butt of the grip tucked against your torso.
No matter which mounts you choose, there’s room to adjust ride height, cant (forward/backward tilt), and retention to get a comfortable and secure fit.
Rounded edges indicate that this will be more comfortable than previous holsters, and I bet it’ll print less, too.
At launch time, Dark Star Gear is offering holsters for select Beretta, Glock, HK, and Sig Sauer pistols.
Don’t forget that you can buy Dark Star Gear hardware and accessories separately to further customize your holster.
Dark Star Gear lists an MSRP of $110.00 for the Perseus.
