It also uses Dear Air’s Trislekion baffle system. According to the manufacturer, this offers excellent sound reduction, low backpressure, and reduced wear on your firearm.

You know we love having options, especially when it comes to expensive gear. The Mojave 45 is modular, meaning you can choose to shoot it in short or long configurations. The shorty is lighter and more portable; the full-length setup is quieter.
You also have options when it comes to mounting the Mojave 45. Dead Air Silencers designed it to work with or without a booster, and it’s compatible with P-series mounting solutions.

The Mojave 45 has a Cerakote protective finish, available in black or flat dark earth.
So, what can you shoot with the Mojave 45?
This suppressor can handle full-auto fire with any pistol cartridge up to .45 ACP with no barrel length restrictions. You can go full-auto with subsonic .300 BLK as long as you have an eight-inch barrel or longer. For semi-auto fire, you’re cleared hot for supersonic .300 BLK and .350 Legend, subsonic .400 Legend and .450 Bushmaster, and .357 Mag and .44 Mag with a 16-inch barrel. Stay away from supersonic .400 Legend, .450 Bushmaster, and any .45-70 Government ammunition.
Dead Air Silencers lists an MSRP of $1,099 for the Mojave 45.
In general, .45-caliber cans tend to be pretty chunky. This one looks relatively slim, and it can save you a ton of money if you want one suppressor for all your 9mm and .45 ACP pistols. Multi-caliber suppressors are usually the way to go, and this one looks – and, more importantly, sounds – like a real winner.
