Strike Industries is known for making exciting ways to spice up your firearms, but this time, they’re in uncharted territory because the Strike Arms Pistol Compact Frame isn’t a component – it’s a firearm.
The SAP-C, as the company is calling it, might be new, but its bones are familiar. This pistol uses the Glock 19 Gen 3 platform as a foundation, so all your Glock 19 Gen 3 parts (and compatible aftermarket ones) will swap right over.
It’s not a one-for-one copy, though.

Strike Arms addressed one of the issues many shooters have with Glocks: the aggressive grip angle. The SAP-C grip is very similar to the more neutral 1911.
Other frame upgrades include a generous grip texture, flared magazine well, raised lip to protect the slide release from eager thumbs, and a double-undercut trigger guard to facilitate a nice, high grip.
And that shouldn’t result in slide bite, contrary to what you might expect. There’s a massive beavertail to keep the webbing of your hand out of the way.
To top it off, Strike Arms created Dynamic Control cuts near the front of the frame where you can dig in and minimize muzzle rise.
Because this frame includes a lower parts kit, it’s serialized and sold as a firearm. That means you’ll need to purchase one through an FFL.
It doesn’t come with upper components like a slide and barrel, though. You’ll have to add those separately. Considering the wealth of aftermarket options, the world is your oyster.
You should have plenty of money left over because this looks like a bargain.
Strike Arms lists an MSRP of $149.99 for the Pistol Compact Frame, available exclusively through Primary Arms.
Glocks are so popular that lots of manufacturers have jumped on the opportunity to make compatible accessories, parts, and even copies.
