Ill be damned, it actually does work pretty well....I thought you'd still really get that supersonic >crack< of the bullet breakin the sound barrier but the pillow did a darn good job of dissipating that as well....I guess it's good to know if you happen to have time in a home invasion to save your eardrums; or if you just wanna look weird as hell by carrying around a pillow as part of your "Every Day Carry" gear....LOL
