The CROSS initially launched in 2020 and marked the company’s return to the bolt-action platform since the 1990s. It was chambered in .277 SIG Fury at launch, a cartridge developed specifically for the rifle.
Sig said that the new CROSS Magnum continues the company’s tradition of innovation and improvements.
“The development of the CROSS Magnum pushes the boundaries of innovation for a bolt-action platform and delivers on precision, power, and performance,” CMO and Executive VP of Commercial Sales Tom Taylor said in a statement.

The CROSS Magnum is feature-rich, performance built, and ready for the hunt.”

I’ll keep my Sako 300 Magnum. It is pinpoint accurate. Beautiful wood and checkering.
If they tried a little harder they could have made an uglier rifle.
