Federal Wins $5M U.S. Navy Contract for 7.62x51mm ammo

Federal Ammunition was awarded a two-year, $5 million contract with the U.S. Navy to provide 7.62x51mm ammunition, according to The Naval Surface Warfare Center at Crane, Indiana.

The NSWC solicited the contract, looking for a source to provide a two-year supply of ammo to “reduce mission delay” while the Department of Defense develops a new load or decides to stick with what it currently uses.

Armanet Launches Platform to Fill Void in Online Advertising

Already working with websites and companies in the gun sphere, the company says it plans to expand its offerings, introducing features like video ads, dynamic inventory-based shopping ads, and a Data Management Platform (DMP) for enhanced targeting and data analysis.

Additionally, Armanet emphasizes its commitment to supporting the 2A community.

“We started Armanet because we loved firearms, understood ad-tech, and didn’t like how big tech treated the industry,” Ibrahim Pataudi, co-founder of Armanet, said in a statement.

“The 2A industry deserves the same kind of robust advertising tools as every other legal American industry. It’s been awesome to provide value to brands and publishers we love. This is just the beginning. Lots of cool things to come.”
